Slogan Writing Competition On The Theme “Role Of Teacher In Nation Building”

Government Degree College Vijaypur celebrated Teachers Day by organising slogan writing competition on the theme “Role of Teacher in Nation Building”. The teacher can be rightly called a nation builder. Teachers through their perseverance love and sacrifices have shown right path in which great men have built our nation. Flourishing national development and a society truly prosperous with knowledge all begins from its teachers. A large number of the students of the college participated with great zeal and enthusiasm and expressed gratitude to the teachers.The first position was shared by Kajal Choudhary of B.Com Sem II and Vinayak B.A Sem-II, second position was shared by Akash, Parvez Choudhary and Mukesh Kumar of B.A Sem II and the third position was shared by Akash Sharma, Vivek Rai, Abhinandan Sharma and Rahul Dogra of B.A Sem II. Consulation prizes were awarded to Mohd. Alfaz, Razzak, Mohd. Kaif, Irfan Choudhary, Rakesh Rohan, Parul Singh, Mohd. Jawed, Vivek Sharma, Harshdeep Mehra of B.A Sem II. The competition was adjudged by Dr. Shittal Sharma, Prof. Poonam Kundan, and Dr. Naseem Choudhary. The Principal of the College, Dr. Vandana Gupta laid emphasis on the role of teacher in nation building and considered them true Nation builders and a source of knowledge and wisdom. She also appreciated their significant role in training the youth for the betterment of the society. She congratulated all the participants and winners of the competition. She also encouraged the students for making their best efforts to participate in such kind of programmes. She further congratulated all the faculty members of the college for organising such kind of activities in college. The whole event was coordinated by Dr. Priyanka Ganjoo and organised by Prof. Renuka Kundal. Merit certificates were awarded to all the winners and E-Certificates to all the participants.
