Slogan Writing Competition On â€œMy College, My Prideâ€

GDC Vijaypur organized a Slogan Writing Competition on “My College, My Pride”. NSS Unit (KHIDMAT) of Government Degree College Vijaypur organised a slogan writing competition on the theme “my language, my pride” under the flagship banner of “My College, My Pride”. NSS volunteers and other college students participated in the slogan writing competition with great enthusiasm, fervour and zeal. The event commenced with the welcome address by Dr. Shittal Sharma, Department of Mathematics. She briefed the students about the importance of our national language/ official language and its usage in day to day life. This event is aimed at keeping our National Language i.e. Hindi alive. Language shows our existence and it reflects our rootedness in India as it defines who we are. Participating students presented their views on Hindi language in the form of creative slogans writing. The whole event was coordinated by Prof. Poonam Kundan, Head Department of Environmental Sciences. The formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Naseem Chowdhary.
