GDC Vijaypur organises signature campaign on voting rights To commemorate the day in continuation to the sequel of events organized under the banner of Voter Awareness Campaign” Department of Education of GDC Vijaypur in collaboration with NSS Unit (KHIDMAT) of the college organised a signature campaign on voting rights with the aim to aware the staff and students that right to vote is a fundamental right in any democratic society. It is the cornerstone of our democracy, allowing citizens to have a say in who governs them and how they are governed. The ability to vote is not only a right, but a responsibility, as it ensures that the voices of all citizens are heard and that their interests are represented in the government. The event was organised under the able guidance of Dr. (Prof.) Vandana Gupta, Principal GDC, Vijaypur. The event was coordinated by Prof. Ritu Bhagat (Coordinator NSS) and co-coordinated by Prof. Poonam Kundan (HOD Environmental Sciences) and Dr. Naseem Chowdhary (NSS PO). The event was organised with the full support of following faculty members namely Prof. Anita Jamwal (HOD Political Sciences), Prof. Mamta Gupta (HOD Commerce), Prof. Manoj Heer (HOD Dogri), Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal, Dr. Jan Mohd. Wani, Dr. Tisha Singh.
