GDC Vijaypur Organises a Selfie-Taking Campaign on Voting Rights To commemorate the day in continuation to the sequel of events organized under the banner of Voter Awareness Campaign” NSS Unit (KHIDMAT) of GDC Vijaypur organised a selfie-taking campaign on voting rights with the aim to aware the staff and students that right to vote is a fundamental right in any democratic society. The ability to vote is not only a right, but a responsibility, as it ensures that the voices of all citizens are heard and that their interests are represented in the government. Democracy allows every citizen to cast its vote in choosing its own government in a democratic way. A single vote is very important as it can decide the fate of a government in a democratic setup. Whole of the event was organised under the able guidance of Dr. (Prof.) Vandana Gupta, Principal GDC, Vijaypur. The event was coordinated by Prof. Ritu Bhagat (Coordinator NSS) and co-coordinated by Prof. Poonam Kundan (HOD Environmental Sciences) and Dr. Naseem Chowdhary (NSS PO). The event was organised with the full support of following faculty members namely Dr. Anoop Bhagat (HOD Sociology), Prof. Mamta Gupta (HOD Commerce), Prof. Manoj Heer (HOD Dogri), Dr. Priyanka Ganjoo, Dr. Radhika Rasyal, Prof. Renuka Kundan, Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal, Dr. Jan Mohd. Wani, Dr. Tisha Singh.
