Online Quiz Competition On The Theme Voting Rights

GDC Vijaypur Organises Online Quiz Competition on the theme Voting Rights NSS unit (KHIDMAT) of GDC Vijaypur organized an online quiz competition on the theme “Voting Rights” under the aegis of Voting Awareness Campaign guided by the unwavering vision of Principal of the College Dr. (Prof.) Vandana Gupta. The quiz was aimed at spreading awareness among the students and NSS volunteers of the college about the importance of casting vote in forming a favorable government. The quiz was organized to inculcate a sense of duty i.e. ‘casting vote’ among the students. Google form was created for the conduct of the quiz in which many students were benefitted by this unique methodology of conducting the quiz that helped them gain a new perspective of how knowledge can be incorporated on a digital platform as well. The questions were related to voting rights, process of registering, casting vote and many more related topics. Many students of the College participated in the quiz competition enthusiastically. The first position was secured by Riya Sharma of Sem VI. The second position was achieved by Arti Devi of Sem VI while the third position was secured by Vishali of Sem II. The quiz was coordinated by Dr. Manoj Heer, H.O.D. Dept. of Dogri and co-cordinated by Dr. Naseem Chowdhary (NSS PO) and Prof. Poonam Kundan (HOD Environmental Sciences). The competition was organized with the full patronage of following faculty members namely Prof. Anita Jamwal, Prof. Mamta Gupta, Dr. Anoop Bhagat, Prof. Ritu Bhagat, Prof. Poonam Kundan, Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal.
