MY COLLEGE, MY PRIDE Students of BA/B.Com Semester I enthusiastically participated in the various activities under “My College My Pride”. One team of students consisting of nearly 25 students prepared beautiful garden with the help of waste material (plastic bottles and cardboard) and also prepared sitting tools with the help of waste plastic bottles and waste clothes. Second team of students consisting of nearly 15 students prepared complaint box for the benefits of students, various decorative items and pen holder for staff room. Third team of students consisting of nearly 15 students prepared beautiful table with the help of solid waste collected from college and beautifully decorated it. Fourth team consisting of nearly 10 students prepared dustbins of various sizes for the college campus. Fifth team consisting of nearly 10 students prepared indoor hanging garden with the waste materials. Students enthusiastically prepared and decorated these items with great zeal. Whole event was based on the theme “best out of waste”. Principal of the college, Dr. Vandana Gupta appreciated the efforts of students for preparing useful and beautiful items for the students and college. She further congratulated all the staff members for their keen interest in all such activities.The event was coordinated by Prof. Poonam Kundan (Convener Ecoclub) and co-coordinated by Dr. Shittal Sharma. Organising team consists of Ms. Renuka Kundal, Dr. Priyanka Ganjoo, Ms. Sonia, Dr. Bandana Khajuria and Ms. RenuMalhotra. Refreshment was distributed among all the participants.
