The NSS Unit (KHIDMAT) of GDC Vijaypur under the banner of ‘Bhrashtachar Mukt J&K’ organizes pledge-taking ceremony. The pledge was administered by Principal of the College, Dr. Vandana Gupta to faculty both-teaching and non-teaching as well as students and NSS Volunteers of the College. The pledge is a significant step towards promoting transparency, Integrity, ethics, and accountability. Corruption remains a persistent global challenge, undermining economic development, eroding trust in institutions, and disproportionately affecting vulnerable populations. Recognizing the urgency of addressing the issue the College organized this ceremony to emphasize the importance of collective actions in the fight against corruption. During the ceremony, participants pledged their unwavering commitment to ethical conduct, accountability and anti-corruption measures. By taking this pledge, they demonstrated their dedication to upholding the highest standards of integrity in their respective roles. While speaking on the occasion Principal of the College, Dr. Vandana Gupta stated that corruption poses a serious threat to our society, hindering progress and exacerbating inequality. She further added that we re-affirm our commitment to eradicate corruption at all levels. The program was coordinated Dr. Shittal Sharma (Convenor, NSS and IQAC) and Dr. Naseem Chowdhary (NSS PO); co-coordinated by Prof. Anil Bhagat (HOD Commerce) and Prof. Poonam Kundan (Convener, Cultural Committee).
