GDC Vijaypur Organizes Awareness Programme On Career Guidance

Career Counselling Cell of Government Degree College, Vijaypur in collaboration with NSS Unit (KHIDMAT) of the college organized a one-day workshop cum awareness programme on “Career Guidance” in collaboration with Wings- Ek Udaan Institute. NSS volunteers and other college students actively participated in the awareness programme with great interest and zeal. The team of Wings- Ek Udaan briefed the students about various government sponsored self-employment schemes. They presented a talk on how individuals can start their preparations for various competitive exams and highlighted various strategies of cracking various exams. It was followed by a question and answer session with the students. Principal of the College, Dr. Vandana Gupta, while speaking on the occasion, appreciated Wings- Ek Udaan Team, Vijaypur for guiding the students on self employment and expected that the department would host more such programmes in near future. Proceedings of the program were carried out by Prof. Ritu Bhagat (Convenor, Career Counselling Cell) The program was coordinated by Prof. Poonam Kundan (Convenor, Cultural Committee) and Dr. Naseem Chowdhary (NSS PO) and co-coordinated by Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal, Lecturer Education.
