Department of History of Govt. Degree College, Vijaypur Organised Documentary Screening on the topic “Subash Chandra Bose and his Contribution towards India’s Struggle for Freedom” in the supervision and guidance of Dr. Vandana Verma, Principal of the College. The main aim of the programme was to make students aware about the contribution of freedom fighters towards India’s struggle for freedom. Students were made aware of complete biography of Subash Chandra Bose through documentary which covered his initial days from the day when he left Indian Civil Services Exam in the year 1921 and had returned back to India to participate in India’s struggle for freedom. The major highlight of his life was the formation of Indian National Army. His contribution and sacrifices towards freedom movement have been immense. More over through the documentary film the debate on his death was also thrown light upon. Therefore, students were made well aware of the visionary, revolutionary and legendry life of Subash Chandra Bose depicting his role in freedom movement. The programme completed under the able guidance of worthy Principal Dr. Vandana Verma, Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of the Department of History. The Programme was organized and coordinated by Dr. Radhika Rasyal (Lecturer) and Dr. Sonia Jamwal (Lecturer).
