GDC Vijaypur Organised Poster Making Competition Under The Banner Of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

Government Degree College Vijaypur organised a poster making competition on the theme, “ILL Effects of Drug Abuse” under the flagship banner of Nasha Mukt Bharat abhiyan under the supervision and guidance of Prof. Vandana Gupta, Principal of the college. More than 20 NSS volunteers and other college students participated in the activity with great enthusiasm, fervour and zeal. The event commenced with the welcome address by Professor Ritu Bhagat, Co-odinator NSS. She briefed the students regarding various awareness campaigns about substance abuse. The first position was secured by Anshita Sharma of B.A. Semester 3rd, the second position was achieved by Chandan of B.A. Semester 1st and the 3rd position was bagged by Rupali Verma of B.A. semester 3rd. The event was coordinated by Ms Renuka kundal, Lecturer Political Science and Co-coordinated by Dr. Radhika Rasiyal, H.O.D. Department of History and Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal, Lecturer, Department of Education. The competition was adjudged by Professor Ritu Bhagat, H.O.D. Education, Professor Anoop Kumar Bhagat, Nodal officer of Nasha Mukt Bharat Committee of GDC Vijaypur and Professor Manoj Heer H.O.D. Dogri. The refreshment was also distributed to all the participants.
