GDC Vijaypur Observed Cleaniness Drive:Swachhta Hi Sewa' Under The Banner Of Gandhi Jayanti Celebration 2023 On 30-09-2023.

In continuation to the series of activities being organized under "Swachhata Hi Seva" campaign initiated by the Government of India to promote the importance of cleanliness and sanitation in the country and to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti 2023, the NSS Unit (KHIDMAT) of Govt. Degree College Vijaypur in collaboration of IQAC under the aegis of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and Bhrashtachaar Mukt J&K organized a cleanliness drive inside the college premises. The drive commenced with the introductory address by Dr. Shittal Sharma, Convenor IQAC of the College where she briefed the students about the importance of cleanliness. She said that the drive was a wonderful experience for students to motivate them to contribute their bit to society and they were major role players to raise awareness on the importance of cleanliness in the campus. NSS Volunteers from different semesters of the College participated in the cleanliness drive with full enthusiasm. The event was organized under the able guidance of Dr. Vandana Gupta, Principal of the College. The program was conducted successfully with the active support and coordination of Dr. Naseem Chowdhary, NSS PO and other members of NSS Unit and Prof. Poonam Kundan, Convenor Eco-Club of the College.
