GDC Vijaypur Initiated Five Days Training Programme On ASER

GDC Vijaypur initiated five days Training programme on ASER Govt. Degree College Vijaypur in collaboration with Pratham Education Foundation , Jammu and Kashmir initiated five days training programme for the students of the college to develop research and data collection skills. The main aim of training programme is to involve the students in the collection of data for ASER (Annual Status of Education Report).Training of students in research and data collection not only enhances their research skills but also empowers them to actively participate in important assessment tasks, like ;In Preparing the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER). ASER is a largest citizen-led household survey of children’s education in rural India and it aims for continuous improvement in our Education system. Resource persons from ASER Baby Rani (Master Trainer), Suresh Kumar (Master Trainer) and Sahil (Master Trainer) initiated the programme in the college campus on 17-10-2024. The programme was initiated under the able guidance of worthy Principal Dr. Vandana Verma and it started with the welcome address by Mr. Suresh Kumar. Detailed programme was carried forward by Ms.Baby Rani . The Programme was coordinated by Prof. Ritu Bhagat (HOD Education) and Prof. Poonam Kundan (HOD Environmental Sciences) and Co-coordinated by Dr. Naseem Choudhary (HOD English). The event was carried out with full support of the senior faculty members Prof. Anita Jamwal (HOD Political Science) and Prof. Mamta Gupta (HOD Commerce).
