GDC Vijaypur Forms Human Chain In Observance With World AIDS Day.

Government Degree College, Vijaypur under the supervision of worthy principal, Prof. Dr. Vandana Gupta formed Human Chain to observe World AIDS Day 2023. To commemorate the day, Red Ribbon Club and NSS Unit (KHIDMAT) of the college organized the event Human Chain to inculcate among the college students the gravity of the problem-HIV infection/AIDS and various preventive measures need to be adopted as responsible citizens to prevent AIDS. An interactive talk was also delivered by Prof. Ritu Bhagat, Associate Professor, Education to aware the students about AIDS and its protective measures emphasizing upon the theme “Let Communities Lead” as the theme of the current year. Principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Vandana Gupta addressed the students and encouraged them to act as ambassadors to remove various stigmas related to HIV/AIDS from the society. The event was coordinated by Dr. Naseem Chowdhary, NSS PO and Prof. Renuka Kundal, Lecturer Political Science and co-coordinated by Dr. Neelam Devi, Lecturer Hindi and Prof. Sonia Devi, Lecturer Hindi.
