GDC Vijaypur Completed Five Days Programme On ASER

Govt. Degree College Vijaypur in collaboration with Pratham Education Foundation, Jammu and Kashmir completed five days programme for the students of the college to develop research and data collection skills w.e.f 17/10/2024 to 21/10/2024. The main aim of five days programme was to aware the students in the collection of data for ASER (Annual Status of Education Report). This programme was to make students develop skills in research and data collection, the programme empowered the students to actively participate in important assessment tasks, like ;In Preparing the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER). ASER is a largest citizen-led household survey of children’s education in rural India and it aims for continuous improvement in our Education System. The trainer from ASER Baby Rani (Master Trainer) guided the students in an effective manner regarding the collection of data and information related to the report. The programme completed under the able guidance of worthy Principal Dr. Vandana Verma. Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of the IQAC team for coordinating with ASER. The Programme was coordinated by Prof. Ritu Bhagat (Convener IQAC and HOD Education). It was co-coordinated by Prof. Poonam Kundan (HOD Environmental Sciences), Dr. Naseem Choudhary (HOD English) and Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal (Lecturer Education).
