Cleanliness Drive Under â€œMy College, My Pride

MY COLLEGE, MY PRIDE Ecoclub of the college in collaboration with NSS unit organised cleanliness drive under “My College, My Pride”.Students of BA/B.Com Semester I, III and V enthusiastically participated in the cleanliness drive in the college campus. Prof. Poonam Kundan (Convener, Ecoclub) in her welcome address shared key features of this campaign “My College, My Pride” and further saidthat the aim of this cleanliness drive is to sensitize the students and masses regarding their responsibility towards their environment as a social and environmental duty. She also told the students not to throw litter on the roads and go for clean and green environment thereby nurturing it for future generation. Principal of the college, Dr. Vandana Gupta appreciated the students and staff for their active participation in such cleanliness drives. These drives are a wonderful experience for students to motivate them to contribute their bit to society and they are major role players to raise awareness. She further said, it is our responsibility to clean our area, colleges, city and country. The event was coordinated by Dr. Shittal Sharma, Prof. Poonam Kundan (Convener, Ecoclub) and Dr. Naseem Choudhary (NSS PO).Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Shittal Sharma. Organising team consists of Prof. Renuka Kundal, Dr. Priyanka Ganjoo, Prof. Sonia, Dr. Bandana Khajuria, Prof. Sandhya Bhagat, Prof. Renu Malhotra and Prof. Adeeti Antehal
