Exhibition On The Theme â€œbest Out Of Wasteâ€

Govt. Degree coleege vijaypur organised exhibition on the theme “best out of waste” Ecoclub (Green Warriors) and Innovation/Incubation cell of Govt. Degree College Vijaypur, organised exhibition on the theme “Best out of waste with Innovative ideas” in the college campus. The programme was initiated with the welcome address by Prof. Poonam Kundan (Convener, Ecoclub and Innovation cell) where she briefed the students regarding the exhibition. The proceeding of the programme was conducted by Dr. Naseem Choudhary (HOD English) where she introduced the chief guest of the occasion Dr. Namarta (Principal, GDC Majalta) and welcome all the guests and participants in the exhibition. Students of the college actively participated in the exhibition with new ideas and innovations. Various useful and decorative items were prepared by the students of the college and they explained its utility and method of preparation to the judges of the occasion. The first position was achieved by Ms. Koushiki of Sem III, second position was bagged by Ms. Shriya Verma of Sem III and third position was attained by Meenakshi of Sem I Dr. Namrata in her address said that such type of activities reflect the creativity of students and further said that the theme of the event is very relevant in the present scenario as the problem of waste management is increasing day by day. She further appreciated the efforts of all the students for their positive approach to conserve our environment. Principal of the college, Dr. Vandana Gupta appreciated the efforts of the students and congratulated winners and participants for their active participation. She further congratulated the coordinator and organising team for their efforts in organising such events. Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Shittal Sharma (HOD Mathematics). Momentos and merit certificates were awarded to winners and participation certificates to all the participants. The whole event was coordinated by Prof. Poonam Kundan and Dr. Shittal Sharma and co- coordinated by Dr. Naseem Choudhary, Prof. Anil Bhagat and Prof. Renuka Kundal.
