Documentary Screening On The Life Of Mahatama Gandhi At GDC Vijaypur

GDC Vijaypur organized a program on the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi by showing documentary to the students about the life of the nation’s father. The event was inaugurated by a speech from Dr. Vandana Gupta, the college principal. In her lecture to the students, she talked about how Mahatma’s ideas are still relevant today. She said that Gandhiji was not an ordinary person. He overcome personal inhibitions and prejudices throughout his life and bravely challenged injustice and discrimination through non-violent methods. Equity, brotherhood, justice, and tolerance were values he supported. Students of the college were present during the screening and were later involved in interactive session on the said theme. The programmme was coordinated by Dr. Sheetal Sharma and Prof. Poonam Kundan and co-coordinated by Radhika Rasyal and Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal. Vote of thanks was presented by Poonam Kundan.
